Summer Opportunities for Learning 2017

Summer School
Elementary (K-5)

Middle School (6-8)

High School (9-12)

Online registration for Summer School 2017 is available for several programs:

• SIGS (Summer Institute for Gifted and Talented Students ) and PArts (Plano Arts Summer Program) - To register online, the parent must go to the parent portal login, must have completed the student emergency information, and must pay using a credit card.  Online registration will be available beginning February 20. SIGS Online Registration InstructionsPDF file

• PEP (Plano Enrichment Program) - To register online, the parent must go to the parent portal login, must have completed the student emergency information, and must pay using a credit card.  Online registration begins March 20.

• PAL (Plano Academy of Learning) - To register online, the parent must go the parent portal login, must have completed the student emergency information, and must pay using a credit card.  Online registration will be available March 13.

• EOC (End of Course) Summer School - To register online, the parent must go to the parent portal and must have completed the student emergency information.  The counselor must have pre-approved the student for the course(s).

• High School Summer School -To register online, the parent must go to the parent portal login and must have completed the student emergency information.  The counselor must have pre-approved the student for the course(s).

Students in the "Summer Opportunities for Learning" program will be provided opportunities to study curriculum that reinforces and/or enriches skills and knowledge learned during the regular school year. Two types of curricula are offered: the regular program and the enrichment program. Additionally, classes provide students with an environment that is both stimulating and encouraging.

Summer school information and registration information will be sent home with elementary school students in mid-March. Counselors at the middle and high schools will provide summer school information to students in grades 6 through 12 at those campuses.

For those not enrolling online, registration forms must be mailed or brought to the summer school office at the Plano ISD Administration Building, 2700 W. 15th Street, Plano, TX  75075
