National School Lunch Week

October 10 - 14 is National School Lunch Week. This year’s theme, “Show Your Spirit,” reminds parents, students and school officials that a healthy school lunch helps students power through the day!

Bowman Middle School Food and Nutritional Services (FANS) Manager Janene Gothard and her staff dive in to the hard work of delivering 250 breakfasts and 750 or more lunches per day to hungry middle schoolers. Janene had many wonderful things to say about her hardworking staff, who make sure students are fed nutritious meals with a smile. So thank you Bowman staff and all of our dedicated FANS staff throughout the district. We appreciate everything you do to feed our hungry children, so they are free to learn during their school day.

See photo gallery or check out the district Facebook for more pictures of Bowman FANS doing what they do best.
