Achievements

Clark is the recipient of the following major awards:  Twice named as a TBEC (Texas Business & Education Coalition) Honor Role Recipient; recipient of the Texas Successful Schools award for outstanding improvement in reading, science and math; Texas Monthly Top High Schools in Texas award; Meadows Charitable School Projects award; and twice named by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  During the past ten years, over 230 students have been named National Merit Semifinalists and Finalists.  Moreover, Clark offers outstanding programs in the fine arts area, with various programs placing 1st in a variety of contests yearly.

Campus Programs

Clark offers the following programs: Pre-international Honors (IH); humanities; gifted / talented (GT) program; credit recovery; inclusion and special education services; PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership); LASER (Learn About Science and Engineering Research); athletics; fine arts; AG (agriculture); debate/oral interpretation and Whiz Quiz.

Parent Involvement Opportunities

Clark has a very supportive and active PTSA that provides financial support for the campus as well as volunteers for the library, school store, and copy center. Opportunities for parents are also available in various booster clubs and Clark’s School-based Improvement Committee (SBIC).
