The Plano ISD Board of Trustees is responsible for making all final
decisions regarding school district policies. For a complete list

Student/Parent Policy Guide
Plano ISD also publishes a Student/Parent Policy Guide which contains
a succinct review of some of the most commonly addressed areas of student
conduct.
These guide books are distributed to all students in August and to all newly-registered
students at each campus throughout the school year. To request that a copy
of this book be mailed to you, please e-mail your name and mailing address
to askpisd@pisd.edu.
Student Code of Conduct
Included within the Student/Parent Policy Guide is the student code of conduct, which outlines offenses that are subject to disciplinary action in one of three categories: campus discipline management, discipline alternative education placement, and explusion.
Avenues of Communication
If parents wish to express themselves regarding a specific school,
teacher or child, dialogue should begin at the level
