2014 Annual Report Features 'Loud and Clear' Messages about District Goals & Achievements
Plano ISD's 2014 Annual Report features "Loud & Clear" messages about the district's goals, school district and community statistics, a Class of 2014 post-secondary readiness report, financial information, bond program updates, community engagement highlights and achievements of the district, schools, students, faculty and staff. To compliment the district's 2014-15 theme, "Loud & Clear," the report includes several videos that can be viewed directly from the online or print versions via an Aurasma app or on Plano ISD's YouTube channel. Gabrielle Luna (pictured), Weatherford Elementary School second grade student, is featured on the report cover. In her related video, she shares a message about how she is preparing for her future. The 2014 Annual Report is available to read on the district website. Directions for viewing videos are published with the report.
Schools Celebrate 'College & Career Week'
Students, faculty and staff in early childhood through senior high schools celebrated College and Career Week this week, January 12-16. Faculty members guided students in anticipated future careers and college planning throughout the week long celebration. View photo gallery

Student Performances and Awards to be Showcased at Plano ISD's January 22 MLK Tribute at Williams H.S.
The community is invited to a tribute honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and a celebration of the legacy of the Plano ISD community on Thursday, January 22, at Williams High School. Pre-program entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. program showcasing student performances and original essay readings. Presentations will be made to winners of the annual Plano ISD Diversity Leadership Awards and MLK Art Contest Awards. Read more | Download invitation pdf

Plano ISD Education Foundation Invites Community to Ski Plano on January 31 at Southfork Ranch
Purchase tickets now new window for Ski Plano, the casual and fun gala hosted by the Plano ISD Education Foundation, with proceeds benefitting students and teachers. This 19th wintry season, the Ski Plano Lodge will take over Southfork Ranch from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31.
