Twenty Seniors Named National Hispanic Scholars

January 6, 2017

College Board logoTwenty Plano ISD's students attending the three senior high schools and the Academy High School have earned top ranking as Scholars through the College Board's 2017 National Hispanic Scholars Program.

Every year, the program honors about 5,000 of the 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The program is an academic honor that can be included on college applications. Colleges do use the program to identify academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino students.
