The Plano Regional Day School for the Deaf was named "Program of the Year" by the international Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The Day School was selected based upon its auditory-oral education and intervention to the deaf or hard of hearing and their families. Fewer than 150 programs like Plano's in the U.S. focus on auditory-oral education.read
