New Hires

Becoming a Plano ISD Employee

• Items to bring to your New Hire Meeting
• Information for teachers with out of state teaching certificates
• Paraprofessional (i.e. classroom assistant or clerical position) information
• Teacher, Nurse, Librarian or professional information

Completed Forms to Bring to the New Hire Meeting

• I-9 - Complete to the signature and date line.
• W - 4 - Complete the lower portion of the form with the total number of allowances you are claiming.  Do not cut form.
• Social Security Form  - Employee ID# is the social security number.
• Substitute Resignation Form - Complete if you are an active substitute for Plano ISD.
• Professional Development Hours Agreement  - For professionals only
• Required Staff Development - For professionals only
• Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposit    - Optional, but if completed, a voided check for each account must be attached.

If you are unable to print and complete the above forms before the new hire meeting, forms will be available at your scheduled appointment time.
