Master's
Program
A benefit that Plano ISD offers is to pay for a master's degree
for teachers. Teachers who have completed or will have completed
two years of service in the school district, may elect to apply
for the Plano ISD Master's Program, beginning in the summer of
2005.
Several
informational meetings will be scheduled during the school year.
Attendance at one of the meetings is mandatory for admission into
the program. Dates and times of the meetings will be sent to each
school's office manager and will also be available on the professional
development site.
General procedures for the master's degree program will be discussed,
including an overview of the available options, procedures for
taking
the GRE, and timelines for applying to a university.
