Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of electrical supplies for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.

The Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed this bid. The bid was formatted for a discount from catalog or price list. The discount from catalog allows staff the flexibility to find the items that best fit the needs of Facility Services at the most competitive price. C & W Electric offered discount off catalog pricing on the majority of the line items and has provided excellent service to the District. American Time and Signal provided discount off catalog pricing for two items and Graybar Electric provided pricing on one line item.

Items designated "no bid" will be purchased through an awarded catalog bid or cooperative bid as needed by the Maintenance Dept.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that the bid for the purchase of electrical materials and supplies be awarded to:
