Description:

Plano ISD has been awarded federal funds from the Carl Perkins grant for the 2006-07 school year. The funds are based on many factors including enrollments and demographics. This year's allocation is for $399,478. These funds will be used for instructional materials and equipment, career guidance, curriculum writing, software, and teacher training. This grant requires no matching funds from the District.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends the acceptance of the Carl Perkins Federal Grant
