2. Williams High School Fieldhouse, #1 and project close out

Description:

This Change Order reconciles the allowance balance remaining in the project. The contract initially included construction of a new field equipment storage building for Williams Field to replace the storage room in the existing Field House. During construction, this additional building was eliminated, and an alternative area was developed for the field equipment storage.

The Work of this Contract has been completed. The required closeout documentation is being completed, and the Project is ready for Final Acceptance.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that Change Order No. 1 in the deductive amount of $69,482.25 be approved. The Architect has reviewed this Change Order, and they concur with the amount. The Administration also recommends that the work for the Williams High School Field House be accepted, and that final payment, including the release of retainage, be made to J.C Commercial.
