Description:

Competitive Sealed Proposals for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all proposals and forwarded their recommendation to the Purchasing Services Department to be reviewed for compliance with Education Code and School Board Policy.

Competitive Sealed Proposals were solicited for this work. Five Contractors responded, and their proposals were received and opened on July 12, 2007. Representatives from Facility Planning and Construction and the Architect evaluated the Proposals in accordance with the published criteria and their relative weights.

Summary:
This proposal provides for replacement and upgrade of finishes in the Board Room, public lobby,and public restrooms. The Evaluation Team checked references and evaluated the proposals. Based upon the review of the Proposer's qualifications and understanding of the work, the Evaluation Committee is recommending the low proposal of Concord Commercial Services be accepted.
