Description:
Proposals for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all proposals and forwarded their recommendation to the Purchasing Services Department to be reviewed for compliance with Educational Code 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance proposal that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of intrusion alarm systems for buildings undergoing construction and under renovation. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Staff has reviewed this proposal and recommends awarding to the vendors who were compliant with the proposal specification. This will allow staff the flexibility to select the product and vendor that best meets the needs of each project. The proposal specifications required the vendors to submit itemized pricing on specific brands and models of equipment along with a labor rate. All the recommended vendors have provided the District with good service. The best value for the District is obtained by awarding all bidders.
