Description:
This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for stage and theater repair services for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Bid notifications were sent to seventeen vendors and three bids were received. The Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed this bid. Bids were requested for vendors to provide stage and theater systems repair. During evaluation, it was determined that the submittals would not provide an adequate level of service. Staff determined that it would be in the best interest of the District to reject all bids at this time.
A new bid process will include a review of the specifications and solicitation of more vendors.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that Bid 2007-010, for the purchase of stage and theater repairs, be rejected.
